Everybody who missed staying at The Opinicon Resort on Opinicon Lake in 2013 is welcome at The Poplars Resort in Newboro, Ontario, hosting American and Canadian fisherman since 1929.  We are close by and accessible just through Chaffey's Lock.

The fishing for Largemouth and Smallmouth Bass, Pike and Crappie is terrific between Newboro Lock and Chaffey's Lock throughout Newboro Lake, Indian Lake, Loon Lake, Benson Lake, Clear Lake, Mosquito Lake and Pollywog Lake.  It takes a long time to thoroughly explore all these waters.  Good fishing tips are always available.

Home cooked meals on the American plan and good, friendly service, starting the opening of Pike season right to the end of September.
